Coral Anatomy
Drawn from the skeletal architecture of coral reefs, this piece translates the branching geometry of marine organisms into a wearable structure. Each element was individually modelled and printed using biopolymer filaments, then assembled by hand into a composition that follows the logic of natural growth — irregular, asymmetric, yet governed by an internal order. The surface texture replicates the porous density of living coral at a scale the body can carry. Where biology builds through accumulation over centuries, this work compresses that process into a single constructed object — fragile in appearance, structural in reality. A meditation on what nature engineers and what fabrication can approximate.
